Town of Webster WRRF Improvements

March 25, 2025

Aubertine and Currier is pleased to announce the completion of the newly renovated Administration Building at the Town of Webster’s Water Resource Recovery Facility. As part of a larger effort to expand and upgrade the WRRF, A&C collaborated with Barton & Loguidice, the prime firm, to enhance this essential facility, supporting its vital daily operations.

The existing portion of the Administration Building was constructed in the 1980s and consisted of offices, a small laboratory, locker rooms, and a garage. Aubertine and Currier was tasked to renovate and enlarge the Administration Building by designing a 3,400-square-foot addition that more than doubled the occupied space of the building. As a key component of the project, a brand-new 740-square-foot laboratory was added with state-of-the-art equipment and amenities that give facility staff the ability to monitor, test, and experiment while keeping up with the plant’s processing activities. A new 750-square-foot break room features a full kitchen for staff, audio-visual equipment for training and presentations, and modular furniture that allows for easy reconfiguration based on the needs of the facility. Since the central corridor of the building connects all new spaces, A&C was able to seamlessly integrate cabinetry as well as space for the copier and other office supplies for easy access to all facility staff. Newly expanded and modernized locker rooms and a laundry room create the potential for a larger workforce of both men and women in the future. A new conference room features a kitchenette as well as new audio-visual equipment that creates a dedicated space for meetings and presentations for staff and visitors alike.
