Key Project:
Countryside Veterinary Clinic
Aubertine and Currier led the architectural and engineering design for a two-phase expansion of the Countryside Veterinary Clinic, delivering a cohesive facility that balances clinical function with patient and staff comfort.
Phase 1 introduced 3,650 SF of purpose-built clinic space, including a welcoming reception and waiting area, four exam rooms, two comfort rooms, an individualized treatment room, administrative and provider offices, and a locker room. Support spaces, restrooms, janitor rooms, and storage, were thoughtfully integrated into the addition. The connection between new and existing treatment areas was carefully sized to eliminate bottlenecking and ensure seamless clinical flow.
Phase 2 focused on interior renovation of the existing building, modernizing the treatment area with updated equipment and expanding the staff breakroom. A new roof layout was designed to accommodate the addition, and a new EPDM membrane over rigid insulation was applied over the existing metal roof, significantly improving the building's long-term durability.
