NYPA Mine Kill State Park Kayak Storage Building

Aubertine and Currier provided architectural and structural engineering services for the design and construction of Mine Kill State Park's new Kayak Storage Building, as well as land surveying services for the Park's Boat Launch Rehabilitation.

The new 25' x 12' Kayak Storage Building will serve as the central hub for kayak rentals, offering reception space and guest lockers inside, while housing kayak storage lockers on the 575 sf unenclosed exterior.

The building’s design was intended to compliment the surrounding nature of the park, with subtle Adirondack inspired detailing, such as exposed rafters and earth-tone finishes.
