Key Project:

SUNY Canton French Hall Renovation

Canton, NY

SUNY Canton's French Hall serves as the primary location for the campus’s administrative services and experiences high volumes of foot traffic, necessitating quick intervention to address its worn and outdated appearance.

The renovation encompassed much of the building, including the main entrance, front lobby, office spaces, conference room and the stairway. The renovation design made way for a new lobby entrance with an ADA accessible entryway, suspended ceiling system with LED lighting, upgraded flooring, modern stairway with a brushed aluminum and face-mounted glass railing system, a built in reception desk, mechanical and electrical upgrades, and new signage to enhance the aesthetics and safety of the building. A&C worked closely with SUNY Canton to create plans that reflected their vision for the facilities.

The renovation of French Hall not only modernized the building, but created a safer, more welcoming space for students and faculty members while meeting the long term needs of SUNY Canton.
