Thrive Wellness and Recovery Outpatient Clinic

Aubertine and Currier was contracted to provide Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering and Land Surveying services to convert the existing 611-615 West Main Street building into Thrive Wellness and Recovery's new Outpatient Health Clinic. The 20,000 sf building underwent significant renovation to house the community’s mental health, crisis-care and substance use outpatient services. The facility features staff offices, therapy and wellness spaces, conference rooms, medical exam rooms, a small fitness center, and space for the facility’s Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), in addition to administration and reception areas.

Our Structural Engineering team provided roof framing system, slab layout, and key structural connection details to support the adaptive re-use renovation.

Civil Engineering Services Included:

• 38,000 sf asphalt parking lot reconstruction
• Replacement of parking lot entrances and driveways
• New sidewalks with ADA accessible entrance ramps
• Storm drainage, site lighting and utility connections
• Coordination with the City of Watertown, DASNY and NYSDOT

The renovation of THRIVE’s Outpatient Clinic and OTP facility has enhanced the safety, accessibility and functionality of the property, allowing for more patients to access the care they need.
